Double eyelids Japanese style, non-cutting

I just came back from Singapore. My friend Dr. Christine Cheng let me try the Water-jet Lipo on her. It was a new experience for me WE did her arms and tummy. It was good.

After that we tried the stitch bleph on one of her outgoing staff who was pretty much more than willing and able to volunteer. She had irregular eyefolds and very chinky oriental eyes. We did the Japanese technique on her taught by Dr. Minami in the last MIFAS (Minimally invasive facial aesthetic surgery) workshop held in Manila last November 2007. It was quite different indeed than the conventional cutting double eyelid I usually do. Technically it is easier for both the doctor to do and for the patient to recover from and the results are great!!

Picture here is immediately after the procedure. Her eyes are quite red because of the eye shields but she's ok, it will go away in a while. It gets better when the swelling subsides.

So those with oriental eyes without double eyelids. Here is a technique that shouldn't scare you. results are immediate and may last an entire lifetime. Very minimal downtime.
